Chocolate Cherry Brownies
1 pkg 8 ounce cream cheese (softened)
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup maraschino cherries (chopped & drained)
1 tsp. American Premium Blends Cherry Harvest
1 egg
1 box fudge brownie mix (water vegetable oil & eggs called for with box mix)
Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees
Grease an 8X8 pan
In medium bowl mix cream cheese, sugar, cherries, American Premium Blends Cherry Harvest and 1 egg with spoon, set aside.
In separate bowl, make brownie batter as directed on box, using the water, oil and eggs called for on the box.
Spread half of the box mix in the bottom of the greased 8X8 pan, reserving half in bowl.
Spread cream cheese mixture over batter in 8X8 pan, then spread remaining box mix on top as the 3rd layer.
Bake 40 minutes. Cool for 1 hour before serving.
