1) How are the concentrates made?
Our concentrates are made from the whole fruits starting with a quick warm water wash followed by pressing the fruit to provide the juice. This juice is screen filtered to remove stems, seeds etc. The juice is pasteurized then concentrated by removing the water under reduced pressure. Our concentrates are then frozen until ready to use. return to FAQs

11) What is an Anti-Oxidant?
Simply, an antioxidant is anything that prevents oxidation. In our case an antioxidant is any chemical that reacts with a "free radical". By reacting with this free radical an antioxidant prevents the oxidation of something else in your cells such as DNA cell structures.

We have all cut an apple into slices, left some on the counter and come back to see it has turned brown. This is oxidation. A similar process happens inside our body every time we breathe. The oxygen we need to live also causes our cells to break down. To help slow this process and protect healthy cells, many people take antioxidants. Antioxidants can be obtained through the foods we eat, the beverages we drink or a supplement we take. return to FAQs
